Biotech Australasia Pty Ltd specialises identifying and formulating specific chemical compounds to create powder and liquid-based hygiene and healthcare formulations. Each formulation is specific for a particular application. The ultimate task for Biotech products is to eliminate most pathogens; the formulations have also been designed to be active and to inhibit the relevant target bacteria in specific consumer and industrial applications.
The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Biotech Australasia Pty Ltd
Biotech’s additional technical support and data comes from access to well known manufacturers of chemicals such as Lonza GmbH as well and Univar Ltd, who distribute products globally. This support enables the Company to operate within the Government Health & Safety Regulations and in line with the Biocide Products Directive (BPD); all the chemical constituents are registered with the authorities administering the BPD.
The products have also been scrutinised by UKAS and NAMAS (accredited microbiology
testing laboratories). This is part of Biotech’s testing programme which
allows the adoption of new techniques and assists in the development of the
Company’s next-generation products.
